FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. How do your online bookings work?

A. Online bookings will show up to date availability for each nail technician, this is all the availability we have for your chosen treatment. We only take bookings a month in advance and new availability will be added on the first of each month for the whole of the following month

Q. What’s involved in each treatment?

A. Please check the description of each treatment on the services list on Fresha. Please note all of our nail techs are self employed so the way treatments are carried out may differ slightly but you will still receive the highest care and attention to detail from each of us.

Q. Do you do gift vouchers?

A. Unfortunately we are unable to offer gift vouchers, as all our nail techs are self employed. You are more than welcome to pay for an appointment in advance for someone already booked in, please contact the individual nail technician to do this.

Q. Do I need to book a removal?

A. If your gel polish was applied by us please book the correct removal option, if you have gel on your nails that was applied at another salon, please choose this option when booking, as all gel soaks off differently this may incur an extra charge. You will also need to book a ‘Builder in a bottle’ removal if you have BIAB on your nails. If you would like a gel soak off only, there is an option to book this online, this is chargeable. We do not remove any acrylic, hard gel or any form of nail extensions.

Q. What if I need to cancel?

A. We understand life gets busy and you may want to cancel/reschedule your appointment, we just ask if you could kindly give us 48 hours notice to give us time to offer the slot to another client. When booking, you agree to our cancellation policy and will be charged a fee for cancellations under 48 hours or no shows will be charged at the full treatment price. Please reschedule your appointment if you have any cold/flu symptoms or feel at all unwell. Please see my studio policy here.

Q. How do I look after my gel polish to make sure it lasts?

A. Protect your nails by wearing gloves whilst cleaning or washing up. Avoid soaking in hot water as this can make them lift. Do not use your nails as tools, avoid picking labels as this can cause lifting. Applying a natural oil everyday will keep your nails and cuticles moisturised.

Do not pick or force the gel off, this will also peel off layers of your nail, making them weak and thin.

Q.What if my gel polish chips?

A. Gel polish can last up to 2 weeks if looked after properly, and your nails are in good condition, so please do follow the aftercare advice, but if you find you have any chips in the first five days please do let your nail artist know and we will fix it for free.

Q. What form of payments do you take?

A. Payments will be put through Fresha and charged to your card on your account so please make sure it is a valid card. We only accept card (including contactless and Apple pay)

Q. Do you take group bookings?

A. Yes, if you have a birthday party, hen party or are just having a girls day! Please send us email to enquire.
